Skyview High School graduate awarded STAR scholarship

NORTH SALMON CREEK — Claire Russell, a 2022 graduate of Skyview High School, has been awarded a $2,500 STAR scholarship from Chapter DY, P.E.O. Sisterhood, Vancouver. Graduating in the top 5 percent of her class, Russell was chosen for this national competitive scholarship in recognition of her skills in leadership, extracurricular activities and community service. As one of the largest community-based organizations in the U.S., the PEO Sisterhood encourages women to meet their college goals through six philanthropies, one of which is the STAR scholarship.
